I know we all have regrets in life. It's okay to have regrets, we are human and we do mistakes. But sometimes many of them cause pain deep inside our hearts. It sometimes becomes tough to forgive ourselves, sometimes we blame ourselves for what we have done. But you know, if we see the thing from a different perspective, we can get over it!
Yeah, seeing our regrets from a different angle or questing about regrets can help a lot to understand it better, as well as it can erase our pain. Now the question is, how can we do that?
First we have to understand that our behavior depends on the perspective. Maybe we were a different person before, we act differently, see the world differently. So it's okay to feel regret. But do think about what makes you take that specific decision, why you think that's the best option. Don't feel ashamed that you choose it. But thinking this way can give you a better understanding of your behavior and action.
Analyzing the positive and negative outcomes from your choices which you regret can help us erase our pain gradually. Presenting the positive outcomes in front of us is very necessary. Also, negative outcomes can help us make the right decision in the future.
Thinking about how would your life be with or without regret is not a good idea. Rather think about how those regrets are shaping your future. And what you can do now to make it a little better.
Getting out of regrets is never easy. Sometimes it can't go away fully. But we can control our feeling towards it, no? Only focusing on it will not solve anything. So think and try to understand your regrets from a different perspective. It may gradually help us t get over regrets!
