Many people don't realize that self-worth is important in life. It is important because when you feel good about yourself, you are less likely to get depressed and when you have depression, the confidence that you have will decrease dramatically.
It is so important that it is the foundation of everything that you are. You can never be happy until you have yourself completely confident and at peace with your body and how you look. People who don't have the self-worth to be able to do this are not able to feel good about themselves, they can't be happy.
Your self-worth is what you feel about yourself in comparison to others. The reason we don't feel very confident about ourselves is because of the people around us. When the people around us don't treat us right, then we don't have confidence to even take our own opinion seriously, let alone take on the opinions of other people.
The very reason we feel like we need to change the way we look is because if we don't look good, then we feel ugly. And if we feel ugly, then we don't feel like anything but an object for others to see and we don't feel any self-worth. The kind of self-worth that only exists in a healthy relationship with oneself and other people.
So the first thing that you need to do is to find a good diet and exercise plan. You should also be reading something in order to get in touch with your feelings. I suggest you read some self-esteem books, listen to some CDs or tapes and get in touch with your emotions.
But I want you to keep in mind that you shouldn't get the wrong kind of feedback. You can make a lot of changes but you must make sure that the changes you are making to your body and your mind don't interfere with each other. If you feel good about yourself, then you will be more able to start feeling good about yourself and everyone else will feel it too.
You should also be avoiding anything that could interfere with the changes you are making to your body and your mind. This means that if you are in a relationship, the only things you need to avoid are anything that could cause you to be depressed.
When it comes to relationships, the only thing that is going to cause you to feel depressed and take your self-esteem down is if your partner is constantly pushing you away or doesn't listen to you. If you feel that your partner is becoming pushy and unpleasant, then you need to act fast and throw them out. If you don't do this, then you are likely to take your self-esteem down for the rest of your life.
